Schwalbe sv17 60mm inner tubes are well recognized for their exceptionally excellent air retention and suppleness and are made of butyl rubber. The vulcanization method used on Schwalbe tubes guarantees a steady wall thickness and strong air pressure retention.

The purity of the rubber combination, in addition to the quality of the constituent parts, is essential to the tube's quality. So, before being extruded, the basic material is sieved at incredible pressure via seven filters. To guarantee consistent wall thickness and good air pressure retention, all tubes are placed into a mold and inflated before being vulcanized.

To evaluate the air pressure retention, all of the tubes are inflated and kept in storage for 24 hours. Each tube is then given a thorough visual inspection. Only a high-quality tube can accommodate a wide range of tyre sizes; a tube that isn't highly elastic cannot do this. For instance, tube number 17 may accommodate tires with a width of 28 to 47 mm.
