Brand new Giro Aerohead Ultimate MIPS time trial helmet from the World Tour Team Dimension Data* made for the 2019 season.
Giro has created their fastest time trial helmet ever - The Aerohead Ultimate MIPS.
When it comes to being on the top of the podium, aerodynamic is the number one priority. But this is not all for Giro. The helmet also needs to be comfortable and therefore lightweight. Giro cut down the weight of the helmet by using the TeXtreme carbon fiber for the outer shell.
Together with Zeiss Optics Giro designed the wrap-around lens. It has to be aerodynamic and in-cooperated perfectly with the rest of the helmet while also giving unblocked field of view. The smart magnetic anchor makes it easy to attached and remove the visor and easy to clean. In-cooperated magnetic anchors in the helmet make it possible to have the visor stored in a flipped up position.
The Roc Loc 5 Air tension system lets you adjust the helmet to perfection giving the best comfort while the over-bros and internal channeling system ventilate and cools your head.
To give this helmet the last touch Giro integrated the MIPS crash protection system which redirects and absorbs the energy from impacts to save your head in the situation of a crash.
