By downloading, accessing, or using Cadence, you confirm that you’ve read and agreed to these User Terms. Please also refer to our Privacy Policy for information on how we process your data.
Definitions
“The app” – refers to the digital platform developed and operated by Cadence Technologies, including the mobile application available for iOS and Android, the associated website, and all features and services provided therein. The app enables users to create, discover, and join social sports activities (“Activities”), connect with communities, and receive personalized content and recommendations based on user-provided and device-synced data.
“The company” – refers to Cadence Technologies ApS, a private limited company incorporated under the laws of Denmark, with its registered office at Stoltenbergsgade 5, 4. th, 1576 København V, business registration number 45 29 46 25.
“Company Code of Conduct” – a set of behavioral guidelines that govern how users interact within the app and in real-world activities organized through the platform.
“User Terms” – refers to these terms and conditions governing the use of the app, including the mobile application, website, and related services. These terms outline the rights, responsibilities, and obligations of both the user and the company, including rules for participation, data usage, content sharing, and legal disclaimers. By creating an account or using any feature of the app, users agree to be bound by the User Terms.
“Activity” – refers to any event, ride, session or physical endeavor created or joined via the app. This includes, but is not limited to, social cycling rides or other community-based sporting events supported within the platform. An Activity can be public or private, created by a user (“Host”) and joined by others.
“Activities” – refers to all such events collectively, whether they are organized by individuals, brands, clubs, or other entities using the app.
“Host” – a user who creates or moderates an Activity or event on the platform in accordance with these User Terms and the Company Code of Conduct.
“Rider” – any individual user of the app who participates in or engages with Activities, including but not limited to cycling rides or other community-based sporting events organized via the app.
“Riders” – all such individuals collectively.
Eligibility and registration
You must be at least 13 years old to use the app. In countries where local law requires a higher minimum age, you must meet that age requirement to register. By registering, you agree to comply with these terms.Acceptable use
You agree to:Use Cadence legally and respectfully.
Not upload or share harmful, violent, or discriminatory content.
Not harass, impersonate, or spam other users.
Not reverse-engineer or disrupt the service.
Not use Cadence to promote unrelated commercial products, unauthorized services, or third-party platforms.
Community guidelines
The app is built around mutual respect and safety. As a user, you agree to:Treat fellow users with respect, both online and during Activities. Abusive, dangerous, or discriminatory behavior will not be tolerated.
Only organize or join an Activity you intend to participate in.
Follow traffic laws and any other applicable regulations.
Use helmets and appropriate safety equipment when participating in cycling.
Activities – strongly recommended.
Follow our Company Code of Conduct.
Activity coordination features
If you use our Activity hosting tools, you are responsible for:Providing accurate details, e.g. location and pace.
Communicating clearly with participants and providing relevant details.
Marking an Activity as public/private correctly.
Risk acknowledgement
By participating in an Activity, you acknowledge the inherent risks of physical activity. Cadence does not evaluate the safety or fitness of routes, participants, or equipment.User responsibility
Users are responsible for their own safety, conduct, and equipment during all Activities. Users should ensure they are physically fit and properly equipped before participating.Disclaimer of professional status
The company does not employ or certify any Hosts, guides, or leaders. All Activities are user-organized and self-governed.Limitation of liability
The app nor the company is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or lost items during an Activity.
We do not guarantee the accuracy of user-submitted data or routes
Use at your own risk and always follow local traffic laws and applicable regulations.
The app nor the company is not liable for accidents or incidents that may occur during an Activity – but transparency and communication are strongly encouraged.
By creating and hosting an Activity on Cadence, you acknowledge that you are not acting as an official tour operator, guide, or organizer under any legal definition. You are simply inviting others to join an Activity.
The app nor the company does not verify the skill level, health, equipment, or behavior of participants, and as a host, you assume no legal responsibility for the actions or safety of others during the Activity.
Riders participate at their own risk and are solely responsible for their conduct and compliance with local laws and regulations.

Territorial scope
The app is currently available in selected countries. By using the app, you confirm that use is permitted under the laws of your jurisdiction.Dispute resolution
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If no resolution is reached, disputes shall be resolved in the court defined under Section 13.Change to terms
We may update these User Terms to reflect feature changes or legal requirements. We’ll notify you of significant changes in the app.Legal jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the City Court of Copenhagen (Københavns Byret).Contact
